Are eyeglass lenses made specifically for one frame?
I have a pair of DKNY frames that are starting to fall apart. The style has been discontinued, but I’d like to buy new frames that fit these lenses. Do I have to find the exact same frames (DY4501) or would these lenses fit in another DKNY frame (such as DY4519)?
They are made just to fit that shape of frame design so these lenses will only fit that model. You could try finding another frame that is smaller than the one you currently have. In this case, your lenses can be cut down to fit a smaller frame. The place will charge to to do this in most cases. Often it works out cheaper just to get a completely new set
