Help with eyeglasses!?
Ok so I bought these perscriptive eyeglasses last summer and the doctor perscribed them for reading and on the computer when I already had glasses. I haven’t worn them much and now I realize I have to wear it, I hate the nose pad and they’re attached to the frames. I can’t get a new pair beause my insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield) only covers the price of the glasses every 2 years so I cannot get a new pair. What should I do? Can I just take the lens and sell the frames?
I would at least try to exchange the frames in. They might have a trade-in program where you bought them.
Or…Be real nice and explain the frames/nose piece have really been irritating your nose, and they just aren’t working for you. Be nice about it, and most people will be receptive to that. I can’t imagine them making you keep glasses that don’t fit you properly.
Admit you waiting a long time, but didn’t realize you could even exchange them until recently. Be nice.
Unless they were expensive frames, the prescription part is the costliest.
