Why is Weezer considered a great band?
I mean, I think Pinkerton is an important album but they have made like 8 albums and the last three are AWFUL. They remind me of Green Day suckage except Weezer seems to get a pass unlike Green Day. I also blame them for pushing emo into the mainstream.
I gotzzz lotzzz of hate towards Weezer. And its not the guy from Weezer’s type of eyeglasses, its Buddy Holly…assholes.
1. They do not suck, I happen to enjoy their music. It’s always guaranteed to make me happy! Nothing bad in that, no harm in it. They are a very catchy band, I don’t think you’re supposed to look at them as being one of the best or the greatest. Just have fun with their music. And they did NOT push emo into mainstream, that word has taken on a whole new definition then from when Weezer did it.
2. “Buddy Holly” clearly says “Ooo-weee oh, I look just like Buddy Holly…” He knows where he got the freakin glasses from…and so do the real fans. Like me.
