Nike Flexon
are flexible glasses soupposed to be adjusted the same way as non flexible glasses?
ive had this pair of glass. ( nike with flexon) and its made to bend because its flexible, so i can participate in various sports. however, i needed an adjustment one day and took it to lenscrafters. the lady adjusted my glasses as if it was a sunglass/ non felxible glasses and she made it alot stiffer than it ever was. it was so stiff, that as soon as i barely titled it at liek a 10 degree angle, it snapped. i was like wtf? howd this happen its made to bend. its cuss she made it too tight cuss she didnt know how to adjust flexible glasses. and now lens crafters wont replace my glasses or even give me a good deal due to the circumstances of their employee. so waht can i do? and Are flexiblee glasses soupposed to be adjuststed the same way? can yu proveide me with some site information so i can show lenscrafters today and hopefully get a good deal off a new pair of glasses.
I adjust them the same way. there is no way to make the flexible part any stiffer. Simple adjustments most likely did not cause the breakage. If you are using regular glasses for sports, you might have already compromised the integrity fo the frame if you were ever hit or jarred at all. They are not indestructible. If you did not buy them at Lenscrafters, and they did not charge you for the adjustment, they have no liability. The liability of the frame and frame warranty lies at the place you purchased them.
