Inexpensive camcorder for ocassional use – UK ONLY?
I need an inexpensive camcorder for use when on my travels.
Good clarity of images essential, not really sure what other criteria is important except an all metal case with optical zoom.
Looking to pay about £70-£100 only as it’s just for occasional use.
Actual model recommendations only please and not suggestions like “try e-bay”.
You are going to be very lucky to get that sort of thing for your money.

I think you are going to have to revise your price range, or have a look at secondhand!
today there are not many that have a metal case, the picture quality will depend on a number of features, one being cost, the format.

There are very cheap camcorders around, maybe in your price range but (Good clarity of images essential) I don’t think they are going to give you that.
