student vday bags?
every holiday i make my sons class a large bag of things for whatever holiday and they love it every year. vday isn’t really my favorite because it’s just way too much candy for school. so this year i thought about putting these things in there bags: pen, pencils, box of crayons. glue stick, pouch of kleenex, sm. germx, sm. bag of candy. The teacher sends notes home all the time that they need these donated so i thought they were a good idea. any thoughts or opinions, and anyone know a really cheap place to get these besides dollar stores.
I think it’s a fab idea! Depending on what you want to spend and how many students are in the class, maybe a $5 gift certificate for a book store would be a good addition. Kids don’t read enough these days and I think that it would be good to encourage. Wal-Mart or Staples will probably be the cheapest place other then a dollar store. Other good things to add, socks, mittens, lip balm, hand lotions, stickers, coloring books…
