Is it normal for the plastic frame of my Ray-Ban Wayfarers to make creaking noises?

I bought a new pair of Wayfarers at the Sunglass Hut today. I had the sales lady bend the frame to fit my face better.

I noticed when I got home that the plastic frame make a few creaking sounds. Is this normal? I’m worried that the re-shaping of the Ray Bans is putting stress on the lenses so that they might snap.

To anyone who has Wayfarers — is this ok?

I just bought some yesterday too! The first pair I got made a weird creaking noise too, the sales lady didnt adjust mine though. So I left the store and tried them on and noticed the noise, it was terrible, sounded like it was gonna break, so I went back and they gave me another pair that made less noise, the sales lady says that happens with those sunglasses.

if the creaking is very loud and bothersome I would take it back and trade it for another pair.
