Purple Lens
what lens filters could I use to shoot the stars and the clear blue night sky?
Because I kept getting these purple like night sky, do I need to switch the white balance or should I buy a blue blue permissive filter or a red restrictive one?
The purple light could be due to artificial lighting (are you near a city?) or your camera being sensitive to infrared. What I do when shooting the night sky, use a low magnification shot of the sky to set the custom white balance.
