Hi I would like to buy my niece a book which I read when I was little but I cant for the life of me remember what it was called and wondered if anyone could help me on the title? p.s Its not the borrowers!

There was a little girl/character who was small and found/borrowed things and took them into her little house. Im sure she had a glassescase for a bed or a matchbox?

I know this is vague but its really all I can remember. It was a magical story though.
