Phone the Temple admissions office immediately and ask. You need an official answer as soon as possible.

If they defer at all, they might not defer students who do a semester (not dual enrollment) at a community or other college between high school and Temple, so you need to explain your situation in detail.

You may need to decide whether to withdraw from community college immediately so that no credits or withdrawal (W) grades appear on your transcript. Discuss this possibility with the Temple admissions office if they tell you that the community college enrollment will make deferment impossible. Many universities consider enrollment at another college to be an automatic rejection of the university’s office of admission.

If they are going to defer you, they should confirm that by postal letter.
